Dragon’s Plains

The Dragon’s Plains are a scarred and shattered land, broken centuries ago by an apocalyptic skirmish fought among dragons. Positioned as a physical scar upon the world, the land remains incredibly unstable. The plains are wracked by seemingly random, violent weather patterns, devastating earthquakes, and swift geothermal upheavals that come and go without warning.

Legacy in the World

In a world where dragons are physical manifestations of primal fears and their opposing securities, the Dragon’s Plains serve as a living monument to their incomprehensible power. The magical fallout of their ancient battles permanently twisted the surrounding landscape, rendering it a uniquely charged environment.

Because of this intense draconic resonance, the plains have become a renowned gathering-ground and nexus for all things draconic. It acts as a territorial claim for wandering dragons, a pilgrimage site for dragon-worshippers, and a stronghold for numerous kobold tribes. These kobolds hold the land as their own sovereign territory, viciously defending it against outsiders—as a university party of geologists and meteorologists unfortunately discovered in 1535, when a local kobold tribe captured them for trespassing.
