The Stormcrows Tavern is a flashy, high-quality establishment in Teremisis, run by the caravan-born hostess Vadoma Penedes. Its decor is unmistakable: maximalist and eclectic to the last corner, a magpie’s hoard of colour, hung cloth, and gathered curios from a dozen roads - quality goods arranged with a deliberate, riotous abandon that mirrors the wandering folk among whom Vadoma was raised.

Interior

Every surface seems to carry something - patterned rugs layered over one another, brassware and beads, lanterns of coloured glass - so that the common room glitters and jangles much as its keeper does. For all the clamour of its furnishings, it is a well-kept and welcoming house, popular with travellers and with the wandering caravan-bands that pass through the city.
