The Sane Hen
The Sane Hen was a large and popular roadside inn in the Theocracy, near the border of the Hub - a day’s walk from Haymerkate and a day from the mouth of the Senegarte Pass. Kept by the warm-hearted Alina Dell, it was famed for its woodale and its celebrated “pixie pie,” and was a favourite resting-place for travellers on the road.
It met a terrible end: the inn was destroyed and all within it slain - the first in a string of mysterious massacres that came to trouble the region.
