The Ader are beings crafted in the Empire to serve as efficient, trustworthy messengers. Each is a humanoid figure with grey skin, white hair, and bright blue eyes marked with runes in the pupils. They do not speak, but they understand any language addressed to them, and they move between dimensions as naturally as walking - travelling within the planes in a manner that resembles teleportation but is not fully understood.

An Ader is absolutely loyal to its owner and never shows any wish beyond fulfilling its task. They were surely meant for greater purposes, but the means of directing them toward anything beyond carrying messages securely has been lost. A scattered few remain in the world, most of them owned by noble houses, states, and great organizations.
