Rust Monster
Rust Monster
Nature Normally docile metal-eater Diet Ferrous metals and the rust it makes Habitat Subterranean passages
Rust monsters are strange, normally docile creatures that corrode ferrous metals and then devour the rust they create.
Description
A rust monster’s body is covered in thick, lumpy armor; its long tail ends in a bony protrusion, and two feathery antennae sprout from its head - the organs with which it corrodes metal. They roam subterranean passages hunting ferrous metals by a keen sense of smell, ignoring creatures that carry none - but turning aggressive toward any that bear metal upon them.
