Brownea Gradiceps
Brownea Gradiceps is a rare and beautiful flower, called the Fire in centaur tale. The campfire stories of the Rediviva hold that it was shaped from the fire of Hephaestus as a gift for Aphrodite in honour of their marriage - and that by the light of its blooms countless couples have since been joined. It is, above all, a symbol of love and marriage.
Its rarity and beauty made it so coveted that fortunes were paid for it, and the Rediviva tribe ultimately destroyed itself over the last blooms in the tragedy remembered as The Last Fire. The tribe still seeks out the flower to honour their dead.
