The Vorpal Sharpener looks like an ordinary whetstone, but any blade ground upon it is made sharp beyond imagining - the weapon becomes magical and terribly strong, said to shear a monster’s head clean off in a single blow.

All evidence suggests these stones were fairly common in the Empire, and one who dared journey toward the Eye and the Dead Zone might well find many of them. But beyond the Color Wasteland and the Black Desert, no one can say with confidence where a single such stone now lies.
