The Giant Link
The Giant Link is a theory of the archaeologist Corian Ballard holding that there exist - or once existed - giant humanoids resembling goliath or firbolg, only far larger, reaching ten metres in height and more. The theory goes further, suggesting that goliath and firbolg may be biologically related to these giants, and that the giants themselves are the very beings spoken of in Greek and Norse myth.
Corian first conceived it during the 1528 Crystal Caverns expedition, in long night-time conversations with the firbolg Sael about the curious likeness and difference between firbolg and goliath.
