Angie was raised by his mother on a farm not far from Teremisis, together with a father he believes - though he cannot be sure - was a headhunter, and who one day simply did not come home. By trade a horse-trainer, he hires himself out to parties and authorities in need of riding or pack horses; through such work he fell into running messages as a courier, which pays the better of the two, and which he has been trying to break further into now that his mother can no longer truly work the farm.
