Dipshane Grohav

Dipshane Grohav was a half-orc thief known as the King of Thieves. The title did not celebrate exceptional thievery: he maintained it by forcing other thieves into his service and leaving the heads of those who refused rolling through the sewers.

Dipshane murdered the father of Lorian Heibner, provoking the first focused rage of Lorian’s life. Lorian pursued him until they met on the roof of a temple Dipshane intended to rob, fighting through a violent rainstorm. Dipshane overwhelmed Lorian, severed two fingers from his left hand, and prepared to kill him while declaring that the strong rule and the weak lose.

Before he could strike, lightning hit Dipshane and reduced him to ash. The temple belonged to Zeus; a second bolt struck Lorian but spared his life, beginning Lorian’s path into the god’s service.
