Genibrya Plotwick is a young woman of the streets near the Poplar inn in Haymerkate, who knew the inn’s waiter Drouble and his clumsy flirtations from childhood. One busy evening, after one crude remark too many sent her storming out the back door, she was set upon in the alley by a would-be rapist - and Drouble, following to apologize, beat the man down in seconds. It was the night that set him on the path of a rooftop protector. Genibrya later told the tale to her friends, marvelling at how fast it had all happened.
