Gorgo

Gorgo is a medusa who holds a fortress deep within the Starlight Roads, the broken planar maze of the old Empire. Among the treasures walled up in her keep is an Alethiometer - a “truth-compass” of lost make, prized by any who would find their way through the Roads - and her halls are lined, as a medusa’s are, with the stone shapes of those who came seeking it and met her gaze.
