Nirin Torum
Nirin Torum is a stuttering, middle-aged man whose mind seems forever to be chasing a dozen thoughts at once - and trying to speak and do all of them together. For all his scattered manner he is a dedicated scholar, one of the trio (with Rirt and Lerasi Slenfairi) who came to study the ruined lake-city where they met the swordmage Moon.
