Shandy

Shandy is the young son of the Teremisis merchant Sharum Virak, with whom he travels the trade-river. Bright-eyed and endlessly impressed by heroes, he dreams of growing up to be as well-travelled as his father and of meeting as many remarkable folk. Since his mother’s death of the blue-eyes sickness, the two look out for one another on the road.
