In the most fearful corners of Thelemar’s lore there is whispered the name of the Defier of the New Gods - a figure said to have set himself against the very gods who walked the world after the Fiend Flood, and to have endured, undying, through the long centuries since. Of his face, his origin, and his purpose almost nothing is agreed; only that where his shadow is said to fall, the old dread of the age of demons stirs again.
