She walks the roads in iridescent armour that shimmers like oil on water - the heliotrope sheen that gives her her name.
Personality
Righteous fury given purpose. Her justice is swift, brutal, and absolute, and she shows no mercy to those who show none themselves. The downtrodden whisper her name in prayer; the corrupt whisper it in terror. And she always answers with blood.
Biography
She was born a tiefling in a land where tiefling blood meant sweeping floors rather than bearing swords. Even as a child, watching the masked knights who stood between wolves and sheep - the Order of the Bastions - she knew their calling was meant to be hers, whatever the world said.
Through blood and grit she clawed her way into their ranks and rose until, at last and reluctantly, they made her a knight. That very evening her new “brothers and sister in arms” lured her to a tavern back room, broke her bones, and left her bleeding on the floor, beaten within an inch of her life. She quit the next day - healed just enough to drag herself to the keep - not from fear but from disgust. There, over her resignation papers, an accidental drop of blood from her soaked bandages soiling her signature, she swore a new oath.
Now she metes out her own justice: a nobleman’s hand severed for groping his goblin servant while his men laughed; a merchant’s throat opened for selling poisoned grain to desperate families; a bailiff strung up from his own courthouse for taking bribes while children starved.
