Camelot is the holy city of the Round Table faith - the Arthurian folk religion of Clairnia. With its grand castle and its great Round Table, it is reckoned the holiest of places by the faithful, who make pilgrimage there to pay homage to King Arthur and his knights and to try their hands at drawing the sword from the stone.
It was to Camelot that the archaeologist Corian Ballard travelled in 1534, to study the origins of Arthurianism - a folk faith that had fascinated him since boyhood, and the seed of his Lost Table Theory.
