Milband Hopperspace is one of the retired adventurers of the Cinderwolves, who settled with his companion Clarissa in Haymerkate to open the Poplar inn and help raise the orphan Drouble. He took a hand in teaching the boy to fight; even at nineteen, Drouble liked to insist he could “barely make father take a step back” when sparring - though the family knew this for modesty more than fact.
