The Cinderwolves are a band of retired adventurers who settled together in Haymerkate to open an inn, the Poplar, and over the years became a sprawling found family. They are best known as the people who took in an orphan, Drouble, at the age of four and raised him among them - so thoroughly that he is wont to say he grew up with “five fathers and four mothers,” to say nothing of brothers and sisters. From childhood they taught him cooking, brewing, and the running of an inn, as well as how to fight, insisting he be able to defend himself as well as they once could.

Members

The old party and their children all work the Poplar, among them: Clarissa and Milband Hopperspace; the Magonar family (Tovrik, Alena, Dorothy, Butz’, and Vansin); Ascapand Dirland; Molinda Timber; Damsela (who built the hidden compartment in Drouble’s wardrobe); the large Hundra family (Amber, Simpon, Derek, Spiak, Godwin, Bodwin, and Alfon); and Rikdor Ponsmith.
