Molo
Molo, son of Dulo, is the chieftain of the kobold tribe that guards the brood of the dragon Ko-Arto in the mountains above the Senegarte Pass. Gruff, stubborn, and fiercely protective of his people, he keeps the old pact his mother struck with Verra and suffers no trespass on his sacred valley - least of all the digging the larger folk are forever attempting. He holds that kobolds must look to kobolds alone; his apprentice-mage Tes disagrees, and argues for new bargains with the wider world. One of Molo’s own children, his son Nes, was carried off in the tunnels and has not returned.
Known to the party
The Cobalt Shadows have dealt with Molo more than once: they freed his apprentice Tes from poachers, helped against the krothik infestation in his tunnels, and learned the valley’s true secret - that Ko-Arto is long dead and his eggs lie hidden there. It was a bargain with Molo that let the party carry off a single dragon-tooth and claim the kill before the world.
