Nanna Maar

Nanna Maar is a famous scholar and painter, remembered for the question she once put to a flard.

The Impossible Colors

Nanna Maar asked a flard for the means to create “all of the colors that are possible.” The answer made her paintings unmatched - but it also revealed something of the flard’s reach: some of those colors exist only in realms beyond our own, and the knowledge of how to make them lay in those realms. Her work is a touchstone in the study of the impossible colors of the Feywyld. A legend in her own right, she has painted in every conceivable hue for an extraordinarily long career - some four hundred years and counting.
