Biography

Nicholas “Nick” Ballard is a little-known archaeologist, disgraced in his field for a string of disproven and ever-more-outlandish theories. He is the grandfather of the archaeologist Corian Ballard - whom he took in only because House Elemdar paid the expenses, and whom he eventually shipped off to GUNAM with a curt letter of recommendation.

His theories concern, in the main, the “starrians” - creatures said to dwell in the lights of the sky, who secretly shaped past and present civilisations - and the “hydronians,” intelligent humanoids living beneath the seas with cultures and kingdoms of their own.
