Swadia’s Lament
Swadia's Lament
Type Lake Region The Hub Of note Submerged temple ruins
Swadia’s Lament is a lake in the Hub - once the northern lake of the ** Kingdom of Swadia**, which took its mournful name after the kingdom’s fall. At its bottom lie submerged temple ruins that have drawn researchers and adventurers for hundreds of years.
Discoveries of Corian Ballard
The archaeologist Corian Ballard dived these ruins in 1531. Driven off by an unseen monster—and narrowly saved by a water nymph named Trill—he nonetheless spent enough time submerged to translate the temple’s walls and study its strange architecture. His work revealed that the ruins were part of an ancient Loreshian temple. These translations presented a startling, secret truth: the ancient civilization of Loreshia kept a unique and otherwise unheard-of group of gods, now academically referred to as The Lost Pantheon. This knowledge remains largely unaccepted or unknown to the rest of the world.
