The Tower of Diviners is a school of magic in the Halo district of the Holy Theocracy of Olympus, where promising youths are trained from dawn to nightfall as full mages and diviners. In a time of war, to graduate as a diviner is to be bound for the military intelligence of the army - and even should the war be decided first, a low-born noble trained here may be assigned, without choice, as a seer-advisor to one of the great houses. Its apprentices sleep crowded together in a shared dormitory and spend their few free hours at their studies, or each other’s company.

A tower given over wholly to the teaching of magic and divination.

History

It was here that Anne Abingale, sent by her father against her will, came in her lucid dreams upon a being of the Dreamtime - and was changed forever.
