Biography

Ertaga was a petty criminal taken in Burg, plucked off a merchant ship he was helping to rob, and abducted by Zolkyr the Unmaker to serve as a test subject. He begged to be spared, swearing to become a humble servant, but was forced to take up the sorcerer’s newest sentient sword. He became its first successful host: the blade digested his memories, annihilated his psyche, and imprisoned his soul - leaving him to be carried, a prisoner, within the weapon ever after.
