Kari
Kari
Profession Seamstress Family Aldor Thaned, son Home A village near the Aeggheimr Mountains Status Deceased
Kari was a gifted seamstress and the mother of Aldor Thaned. Aldor remembers her as a warm, attentive parent who kept him happy and well clothed through the harsh mountain winters. Her husband was conscripted for the War of Horrors before Aldor’s birth and never returned.
When Aldor was ten, banderhobbs raided their village and abducted them. The creatures fed upon the captives’ fear and anguish, forcing Aldor to watch as they killed and ate his mother. Her death remained the central nightmare of his adult life.
