Vanifer is the leader of the EmberCats - the smuggling network that is, in truth, the Cult of the Ravaging Inferno, devoted to the worship of elemental fire and to Imix. Beneath the contraband and the bribes she steers a congregation with aims that reach far past mere smuggling.
