Abranos

Description

Physical Appearance

Personality

A man of little means but big heart, who worked himself double to keep his children fed and could not find the strength to confront his own runaway son.

Biography

Abranos was a humble baker in a city of the Holy Theocracy of Olympus, husband to Masilya and father to Dolerus, Tristis, and Alena. After plague and abandonment shattered his family, he laboured ceaselessly to provide. When the tyrant Anton de Bousherie decreed ownership of every food-shop in the city, Abranos resisted and even filed a formal lawsuit; the next morning soldiers broke down his door, accused him of conspiracy, evasion, and theft from the ruler, and threw him into a dungeon with no trial but a public sentencing and humiliation. He remains imprisoned to this day - one of the wrongs his son Tristis still hopes to undo.
