Race Minotaur Profession Warrior and wanderer Faith Pan Band The Faithful Companions
D’ok Zingbir is a minotaur raised in a tribe within the old Empire. The tribe integrated into imperial society early in D’ok’s life and guarded a forest sacred to Pan. Trained to fight from childhood, D’ok served in the war against the Horrors and lost half of one horn in the fighting. He eventually left to see the wider world he had known only through stories, travelling with Amilius Grandt and Pamina under Amilius’s patronage.
Extroverted, attentive, mischievous, accepting, and optimistic, D’ok follows the wilder, freer aspect of Pan while tempering it with a love of harmony. He travels to understand how the world’s other Twisted Races live, holding that all who are born outside the norm are his people, whatever their race. His optimism opens doors and helped the Faithful Companions trust one another, but can leave him slow to recognise that others do not share his hopeful view of life.

- Bond: Those born outside the norm are my people, regardless of race.
- Flaw: I find it hard to grasp that others may not share my optimism.
