Kaura (also Kára) is a Valkyrie, a daughter of Odin who left Valhalla and now rides with the revived New Fiend Hunters of Achilius Clint. Rumor - only rumor - holds that she left Valhalla for him, and that the two are lovers.
She stands some two meters tall, broad-shouldered, her bottle-gold hair spilling over her shoulders; she wears rune-covered plate, bears a spear and tower shield with a red cloak streaming behind her, and the ring of her steel-shod steps is swallowed in a general halo of radiance. Sharp-featured almost as if cut from stone, she is a peerless warrior who has fought many times against the Horrors.
It was Kaura who, having lost the god-killing sword Tyrfing to a fiend that bore it into Mictlān, commissioned Gilded Requiem to retrieve it - a quest that ended with the company slaying Banark, the Archfiend of Despair.
