The New Fiend Hunters are the revival, in the present age, of the storied order of fiend-slayers - the heirs of the original Fiend Hunters who first formed against Ma’ar and his horrors. They are led and championed by the aasimar hero Achilius Clint, even as much of his effort is bound up in ratifying the Verra Accords that hold the Hub together.

Among their number rides the Valkyrie Kaura, a daughter of Odin who left Valhalla to hunt the horrors at Achilius’s side. After the mercenary company Gilded Requiem ventured into Mictlān on Kaura’s behalf - slaying Banark, the Archfiend of Despair, to recover the lost god-sword Tyrfing - the two companies formed close and lasting ties.
