The Dancing Jungle Clan
The Dancing Jungle Clan is one of the many wandering tabaxi clans of the Boundless Jungle of Clairnia - a roaming people who rarely settle, raising ramadas where they pause and moving on to chase the jungle’s mysteries and to keep ahead of the Children who hunt their kind for their prized pelts. The clan is led by a Council of Nine, and it was here that the swordmage Moon and her younger sister Flow of the River were raised.
The Dancing Jungle Clan kept the old art of bladesinging, handed down since the tabaxi Nimble Straw first carried it home from his travels six centuries ago as a defence against the Children. When the Terrible Children War broke out in 1493, the clan answered the great inter-clan council and fought through both wars; afterward, gravely diminished, it withdrew deep into the jungle to rebuild.
