Tikal is a tengu of The Merry Bunch - the adoptive younger brother of Aldor, and his self-appointed steel shield.

Biography

Born under the sign of Gagana, Tikal’s earliest memory is of his wingless brother crouching by his bed and whispering, “I will always protect you, my brother. Always.” Tikal decided the truth ran the other way - that it was his duty to shield Aldor from an uncaring world. At his adulthood ceremony he first manifested the Talons of Gagana and Phoenix - one talon for himself, one for his brother. Friendly and quick to joke when tension rises, he looks up to Aldor while quietly believing he should be the steadier of the two; Gagana is said to have granted his protection to his signed tengu.
