Biography
Yendal Applewhistle is an anthropologist of the Anthropological Institute in Sabyan. As a visiting professor at GUNAM, she set the young Corian Ballard to translating an obelisk-inscription and, in doing so, opened his eyes to anthropology; the two became, in all but blood, a family - she the second mother to a boy who had lost his own.
Late in life she did what few dared: she crossed the ocean to the New World, found Corian’s ridiculed New World Theory to be true, and chose to stay - sending word back that drew Corian to follow her across the sea.
