Overview

The herd tongue of the Minotaur clans - one of the Twisted Races that emerged after The Collapse. Minotaur uses the Common script but renders it with long, drawn-out vowels and stamping cadences suited to open ground and large gatherings. Oaths spoken in Minotaur are taken with unusual seriousness: to break one is to be cast out of the herd.

Phonology & Script

Minotaur stretches the Common script into long vowels and stamping rhythms built to carry across open ground and through great gatherings. Its culture of binding oaths gives the spoken word unusual weight - a broken oath is grounds for exile.
