Felis

Overview

Felis is the nomad tongue of the Tabaxi of Clairnia’s Boundless Jungle. Long suppressed under Clairnian slavery, it survived by hiding inside dance and song, and it still carries the rhythm of the martial performances that preserved it. Its speakers favour quick, percussive syllables and a fondness for storytelling phrases that have no clean rendering in Common.

Phonology & Script

Felis is quick and percussive, written in the Common script but shaped by the cadences of dance and martial performance. Its wealth of storytelling idioms reflects a people for whom narrative is sacred.

Speakers
