Asmodeus, the Dark Strategist, is the Archfiend of the ninth and final layer of Mictlān - the cold mind of infernal order, and one of the three Arch-Fiends whose blood runs in the tieflings.

Divine Domain

Asmodeus’s domain is strategy and ambition. His realm, the Final Trial (Chicunamictlán), is a vast iron fortress overlooking a black void, embodying military precision and infernal order. High-ranking devil generals conduct tactical tests of the souls who reach it, while Asmodeus himself offers manipulative bargains designed to break a soul’s resolve.

Asmodeus sired a line of tieflings marked by foresight and preparation - those who plan ahead and ready themselves for any situation.

Relics

Among the works attributed to Asmodeus is the Book of a Thousand Abysses, a unique tome said to have been written by his own hand and held sacred to him.
