Mab, the Winter Queen, is one of the two godlike Arch Fey who rule the Feywyld - sovereign of the Unseelie Court, and ancient rival of Titania, the Summer Queen.

The Unseelie Court

Those fey who serve Mab call themselves the unseelie fey, and are generally the more malicious of the courts, favoring the macabre aspects of the natural world. They are dangerous and untrustworthy toward visitors - yet, unlike the Seelie, they welcome non-fey into their Court. A Winter Court born of a realm that knows no true death is a strange and singular thing.

Nature

Like all the Arch Fey, Mab is served and worshipped by lesser fey and wields power beyond any mortal’s, yet remains lesser than the true gods. She is bound, with Titania, by the secret Worldpact - the “Queens’ deal” - that holds the Feywyld and the mortal world apart.
