Týr, God of War and Law

Divine Domain

Týr is the god of war, law, and the harshest justice - the one-handed god of sacrifice, whose justice is fierce and warlike. Where other gods speak of ideals, Týr acts: he protects the weak and punishes betrayal without mercy.

Symbol

Roles

In the faith of Pius he is named the Hand of Justice, and his paladins often serve as judges and warrior-defenders. His is a justice taken to the extreme, and those who follow him too zealously can become hard and unyielding.

Worshippers & Cults

Warriors and lawgivers of the Lexalian Republic. The judge Bare Formidler was once a cleric of Týr, before the god’s warlike rigidity drove his own son away and he turned instead to the gentler Forseti.
