The College of Spirits was the first of the colleges to rise without descending directly from Fontina’s teaching. It was born after the fall of Loreshia, whose death and destruction in the fiend-flood led many bards to conclude that there was a form of self-expression forever bound to the spirits of the lost - that death itself, being an unavoidable part of life, was an inseparable part of art.

Founded in the Lexalian Republic, its black-cloaked bards keep the stories that call from beyond the grave.
