The Church of Starry Wisdom - also called the Starry Wisdom Cult - worships Nyarlathotep in his aspect as the Haunter of the Dark. The cult wields an age-old sacred relic known as the Shining Trapezohedron to summon the Haunter, who demands outrageous sacrifices in exchange for limitless knowledge of the universe.

As the wanderer Elizabeth travelled through the Theocracy, she chanced upon one of the church’s chapels - as though by fate - and relapsed into her younger self. She stayed within its walls for a while, until the dark deeds grew too much to bear, and she fled once again.
