The Servants of Thanatos are a religious assassin order that grew in the old Holy Empire - today the Holy Theocracy - around the year 1000. The order claims purely religious motives, and acts upon the guidance of a priest of Thanatos who counsels its head.

The Servants rarely operate beyond the nation’s borders, and are regarded as amateurish by their counterparts in the neighbouring lands.
