The Cursed Conclave

The Cursed Conclave

Type	Adventuring party
Formed	At a contest for the Ring of Unshackled Desire
Current quarry	Dranan Horbit and the Faithful Companions

The Cursed Conclave are an adventuring band first drawn together at the contest for the Ring of Unshackled Desire. Their first connection was shallow: all four wanted a chance at the Ring, and none knew anyone else with whom to enter. Over the course of the contest their relationships deepened. Dziy and Reggo bonded over their fierce moral convictions, Wisp and Warren over their stolen pasts, and all four found that the others needed both support and someone willing to believe in their goals.

By the end of the contest, after their elimination, they had resolved to remain together as an adventuring party. They planned first to help Vern restore Karmos Tran to his true body, then perhaps to free Wisp from Titania’s control.

That changed the moment they saw Dranan Horbit of the Faithful Companions turn into a demon. Dziy apologised but said he could no longer join their planned journey: Dranan was not a lycanthrope, but in Dziy’s eyes he was no less dangerous and had to be hunted. The others agreed that demons must be fought and destroyed, set their own causes aside, and left in pursuit of Dranan and his band immediately. They knew nothing of the other events at the fair beyond what they had witnessed.

Their pursuit now places them directly in the path of the Faithful Companions’ expedition to Kios. For the Companions, the Conclave is the principal obstacle between them and Kaios’s Tower, where they hope to find a cure for Evanor’s curse and exorcism lore that can help Dranan.

Kios Status

Reason for being there	They are hunting Dranan to stop him from killing anyone else. They suspect that he and his companions came to Kios in pursuit of something connected to demons; the city’s unusual undead activity and the presence of a small number of demons reinforce that fear.
How they reached the city	They travelled through the Feywyld with Wisp’s help.
Food
Diseases and curses
Objective	Kill Dranan.
